Fischer develops special return machines to be able to guarantee an efficient and reliable exit control. At the gate, the machines check visitor’s RFID cards or wristband for open items and grant passage only after a successful validation. Subsequently, the chip card or wristband is retracted, and the turnstile gives passage. Visitor numbers can be successfully measured, retention times easily recorded, and fraud can be avoided. The terminals' graphic displays can be used for visitor information as well as for advertising purposes.
